Troop 777 only publishes photos of Scouts whose families have provided permission through our troop media release form. If you prefer your child not to appear in photos, please let us know anytime; we will always honor your request.
To protect our Scouts’ privacy: We never post full names of youth (first names only, or no names at all).
If a Scout does not have permission to appear online: Leaders will blur their face or crop them out before posting. If you see a photo that needs to be removed, email the Scoutmaster and it will be taken down quickly
We avoid sharing personal information such as schools, home locations, or schedules
We do not post photos that reveal exact locations in real time
No geotagging or automatic location tagging
Group photos are preferred when possible
We publish images that:
Highlight learning, teamwork, and the outdoors
Show Scouts in uniform or engaging in activities
Reflect the values of Scouting and the spirit of Troop 777
Maintain a positive portrayal of our troop
Photos of Scouts in swimsuits or changing clothing
Images that include non-Scout family members without permission
Embarrassing or sensitive moments
Photos showing unsafe behavior or rule violations
Parents are welcome to take photos during events. We simply ask:
Please ask permission before posting photos of other people’s children
Do not share full names of Scouts
Avoid tagging other families or revealing specific locations
Keep posts respectful, positive, and aligned with BSA values
If you’d like to contribute photos for the website or newsletter:

Troop leaders will review all images before posting to ensure they meet our safety and privacy guidelines.
